Our lives tend to revolve around what we focus on. So if we’re aiming to build greater levels of happiness and fulfillment into our lives then it stands to reason that we ought to focus more on the very things that bring these about. But first we must realise that these states are emotional and therefore cannot be reliant on the external. Plenty of folks think that by achieving certain accomplishments they will feel happy or fulfilled but that simply isn’t true. Because as with any accomplishment, once we’ve arrived there is always something else beyond it to pull us away.
